Fit2cook wins Business in the Community Award - June 2014

fit2cook food education and The Southern Co-operative have been recognised for their impact in the South East as part of Business in the Community’s 2014 Responsible Business Awards. The Responsible Business Awards are the UK’s longest-running and most respected corporate responsibility awards set up to champion and raise awareness of the best examples from across the UK of business making a positive difference.

The Local Impact Awards specifically celebrate companies and individuals who are creating local impact in their community, through initiatives such as volunteering and inspiring young people with work placements. fit2cook achieved a highly commended in the Collaborative Action Category for their work with the Southern Co-operative on the Create & Cook Competition.

Min Raisman from fit2cook said: "It is great that our work with schools and the wider food community along the South Coast has been recognised by Business in the Community. We are delighted to have won this award with The Southern Co-operative for our work celebrating local food and nurturing young talent".

Fit2cook was presented with the Local Impact Award at the Solent Responsible Business Awards Showcase on the 12th June at Langstone Technology Park, Havant.
